(Since I'm on a dog streak...)
She came to us three years ago when she was already two.
She was shipped from Germany where she was a military dog. We were told she was fierce but she would melt when around children.
It was true.
Our youngest would ride her around like she was a horse. And in the next minute Celina would hear a strange noise from outside and immediately be on guard.
You don't want to mess with Celina when she's on guard. (see video)
At first I was frightened of her. I was intimidated by her capabilities. But I fell in love with her as I saw her become more and more protective of the girls.
She is confident.
She is loving.
She is brave.
She is soft.
She is intimidating.
She is affectionate.
She is the perfect combination.

I know how you feel! I love my dogs and love how gentle yet protective they are. She is a beautiful dog.
The personality of every dog reflects the way humans have trained and treated it. If you train a dog to be vicious, it will be vicious. If you love it, you won't find a better and more loyal and loving companion. It sounds like Celina offers you the best of all elements: brave, friendly, loyal...and ready to take on anyone who would threaten you.
